Ohhh yes I figured out a way to make “tags” in notion!

If Tana had a mobile app that would be icing on the cake AND if Notion had tags that would push it over the edge for me!

Going to give Tana / Notion another try. I definitely feel like I can make them apart of my PKM system.

I think we are starting to see the importance of owning your content and not relying on only one way to put or consume that content. Of course, I am talking about the recent development at Twitter where they restricted certain 3rd party developers from using their API. Check this article from The Information for more details on the API issue. The issue here is how suddenly and without notice the API keys were restricted and as of today still no communication as to why. With the current state of Twitter can you say that you own your content, yes you can still get all your tweets but if anything I think it has proven that the unpredictability of Twitter the past few months I would not count that as owning my content.

I feel like the current Twitter API issue going on right now is a perfect example of why you should own your content and not put all your eggs in one basket. I truly feel sorry for the people whose lives depend on that API.

A part of being intentional is also making sure you are taking intentional breaks. Sundays are my days of intentional rest. It feels good to know that I have a day of rest coming up.

Since I have been sick this past week my taste/craving for coffee has almost dropped to zero. I would drink probably on average 32oz a day maybe more whereas this week I am averaging 8oz. ☕

Hot take / unpopular opinion but the added scenes in the Star Wars special editions really really look out of place. I thought when they first released it was pretty cool now I just find it jarring.

Why I am going to double down on micro.blog :

1. They have already figured out some of the hard stuff
2. Most of the stuff I don’t enjoy, managing servers, website code, etc they take care of
3. The monthly cost is worth it for me to use my time to focus on other things
